He wanted to avoid insurance so I am fitting 2 doors and repairing the rear wing, as we are so busy I had 5 hours on it today and its now ready for primer, I love a challenging job like this.

I remember when I first passed my HGV in 1994 and a car drove straight flat down the side of my lorry, the wheel nuts opened the car up from end to end. Very similar looking damage but a tad wider.

Amazing how good you make a repair with filler, those lines on the wheel arch must take some time ?.
You very clearly have a talent for it mate .

My first Alhambra came back from the main dealer looking like that after a service.

They denied it was them! I had a massive row and the dealer principal basically told me I was a lieing b*stard.

The next day he rung up and said a mechanic had admitted to it. But obviously decided not to say anything at the time!

The repair job they did was awful. Absolutely full of filler from tapping around it.

In that case it should have been new panels fitted, we gave the lad the option of a new rear quarter but he wanted it as cheap as possible, in fact he tried a number of body shops and they all told him the panel was not repairable .

TBH I would think any insurance claim would be written the car off.
