Wanted Tilt sensor

Hi, can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement tilt sensor + cable/fittings? Car alarm went off after heavy vehicle got too close & couldn’t deactivate the alarm with key, opening doors, starting engine,etc! After looking online, saw YouTube post from a mechanic suggesting looking for signs of leaks around tilt sensor in left well of boot - sure enough, the poor sensor was submerged in rain water & falling apart with corrosion! Local garage suggested eBay, but I’ve typed in the code from current sensor & have drawn a blank. Does it have to be replaced with the same coded part, or are these items the same for different BMW models? Thanks, Jules

Thanks for this, Eddie - will try to find where it’s been leaking & fix it whilst waiting for the alarm tilt sensor.
