I am looking at coveting my car to a drive by wire set up and need the electric throttle peddle.

Anyone have a throttle peddle assembly from an M54 car with the sensor and linkage?

Why would you do that? It just adds something else to go wrong. My car has the fly-by-wire PEDAL and now it is 18 years old it's not brilliant. It's at its worst when reversing up a slope (my driveway) when it is quite hard to keep the revs steady. It either stalls or races. I would like to go back to a cable personally.

I am working to put a turbo on the car and nobody supports the MS42 DME system. I can either go with a full stand alone ECU or upgrade to the MS43 DME from an M54 with the drive by wire set up that is much more adaptable for tuners.

OK. That makes sense then.
