Sheared bolt, one of the two at the bottom of the front strut.
I didn't want to use the impact wrench on this, but since the last person in here used red loctite, I had no choice. And somehow in getting the gun into position it switched from loosen to tighten with inevitable results.
i have worked up through my bolt extractors, but what it left of the bolt is just shredding the extractors. I've tried heat, I've tried cold. The carcass of the bolt is not coming out
including the little nubbin between those two bottom bolts, there are 4 contact points between the strut and the hub, do we think I'd be ok to put it all back together missing that bolt while I take it (gently) to a professional to rescue me?
