If you PM me your address, exactly the was it would appear on a letter (because I don't understand all the letters/numbers on your addresses), I can send this to you plus about 50 of the plain ones you can give to other members when you see them. If its ok with you, I can send along also, badges of people who send me a picture they want on a badge. Perhaps they could send you a self addressed stamped envelope that you could mail back to them with the badge. Its up to you because its extra work and I know you are already very busy. Or maybe you have a better idea. I'll go with your idea. FrankieNow I get what you wanted my favourite Zed picture!
Looks awesome Frankie, you have been busy. I can wear that and never forget who I am again
I love the way that everyone brings something a bit different to the forum. I would never have thought about doing badges like this, and In fact when I looked at name badges before - I never thought of doing them like this
Good work sir, you are a legend.
There's a lot involved getting into it. There is a front plate and a back pin plate. A machine or tool crimps the photo around the front plate and then around the back plate is pressed on. A mylar disc is placed in front of the image going onto the front of the badge before crimping. A template is used to design the image for the badge. Special software is used for the implementation of the designs on to the templates. Once everything is set up and you know how to use it, its easy. Doing it for the first few times is a real bi***. Its been a while since I've screamed at my computer at the top of my lungs like that. I had to teach it a lesson.Frankie,
Where did you get the empty badges from?
I suppose some tool is needed to wrap the outer around the inner part?
Thanks, Koen
