All those horror photo's that were posted,......... they all passed with no advisories........

On another note, in the threads that were discussing the new MOT changes, I said it would be a charter for unscrupulous garages to profiteer, only to be told that would not be the case, because they would lose too much business..

I'd have to say that, going on experience, an awful lot of car drivers can't be ar5ed to read the owners' manual to see what does need to be done on a regular basis, it's much easier to complain about being ripped off. Not that anyone should be doing any ripping off, but there's that thing called "caveat emptor", let the buyer beware. Perhaps some kind of education should be part of the driving test, I seem to remember that some knowledge of how a car works was part of the German driving test when I lived out there.
And you've only got to see some of the pictures that @t-tony puts on here to realise that some car owners live in a state of blissful ignorance about the condition of their cars.
