+1 for Ghia X and 3 series touring, unfortunately never owned either. Surprised there weren’t more Volvo’s? I’ve got a cracker

So comfortable, soo fast, moved sofas fridges once got a whole motorbike in it 😄
 
Lovejoy had a Volvo as did many local "Anitque" Dealers. Best use was the BTTC.

There was one local to us Steve. I always thought that it looked like a bloody hearse though. Did like the Police's 2.5 Pis though.

I always thought it was a bit different you used to see the saloon triumph 2000 but I think his one is the only estate one I have ever seen
 
My late brother had a 2000 although it was a 1966 D reg. previous model but still a lovely straight six.

Had Vauxhall estates over the years, Victors, Carltons, Omegas and Astras and was happy with all of them, now got a Leon which I am also very happy with we find etates very usefull. Geoff
 
I wouldn't be without my MK4 Mondeo estate.
Grew up with Cortina estates in the family - I knew I'd turn into my dad one day:eek::)
 
I had a Triumph 2000 estate for a while once, it was given to me by a neighbour because the engine was making horrible noises. I lifted the engine out and rebuilt it and it was a great car. I kept it for awhile and then sold it on. The engine removal was done by removing the bonnet and lifting with a hoist, as I had owned several Triumph Spitfires and the engin was similar it was no problem to strip and rebuild. A bit later a freind at work lent me his Haynes manual for the 2000 so I checked the removal procedure. apparently the engine cannot be removed from above but only from below. Glad I hadnt read that first.
 
I just bought a Saab 9-3 estate, 2010 with just 46k miles on it. Some thieving scumbag nicked the cat off my Accord. It cost me £980 to replace the cat and exhaust and new sensors after they butchered it. Three cars got the same treatment in our village over the same weekend. Nobody saw or heard anything and all we got from plod was a crime number. I had to sell it after that as I felt violated.
 
That's bloody shocking mate. Apparently Cat nicking has become a thing over in Kissimmee now too.
