The ZRoadster.org "Potential for a 2014 Calendar" Thread

Hi,

I'm a glutton for punishment this year and am considering creating a 2014 calendar as well as the mugs!

Tentatively thinking an A3 (yes A3) Landscape Calendar featuring the best images of the Picture of the Month competitions.

Would be looking to sell these at the same price as last years A4 Calendar. That was £10 per calendar + P&P if I remember correctly.

I've done some basic work on the design, but don't have anything to show you as yet (but then you have all seen the POTM entries, so you know the quality, right!). Can you please vote on the poll if you are interested, so I get an idea of whether it's worthwhile producing or not? Need at least 10 orders to make it worthwhile doing, and the more I order the cheaper they are.

Let me know your thoughts, and don't forget to vote please! I've not put a "no I don't want one" option, because that would be silly

As ZRoadster.org is an International organization, hope you can create a calendar that overseas members can order ... was only for UK before as for as I remember. Thanks from Hong Kong

Hi Peter,

I'm sure I shipped a couple overseas last year. I certainly shipped something overseas in the last year. Got me thinking now...

I see no issue in sending either the calendars (or the mugs for that matter) overseas.

EDIT. Just checked and I published P&P rates for Europe and the rest of the world for the last calendar!

Get your pictures in for the Pic of the month comp Peter. Sure you can find some good ones of your one off Zed, you may get your car on the calendar..

I think that the a3 will be a better option but can we have a larger area for the dates please my eyes couldn't see the last years dates, age I expect!!

I think you will get a better size full stop with A3, but I'll look at the options again when I start.

That's going to be a pain Mark, as the calendars only really become viable when bought in bulk. There are companies out there who will do that sort of thing though.

Mark, Snapfish or photobox are always good for that kind of thing - can usually find a discount code after a quick google search too!

Gary I'm sure we'll have one off you. Liam has to have something to look at once the M has gone!! As someone else has suggested, larger dates (and maybe a space to write events on) would be good.
