BMW 118D SE (grey) '57' plate
We actually have two 1 series BMWs. Both seriously broke within 2 weeks of each other back in June. Timing chains slipped on both engines. Apparently a design fault with the N47 engine. So far it has cost me £4,500 in repair bills. I shall be sending my invoices to BMW for their prompt attention.
BEWARE - Do not buy a 1,3 or 5 series with the N47 engine between 07 and 09. You have been warned.
