Just purchased a 2001 Z3 3.0 and finding it strange that when you fold the sun visors down there doesn't seem to be anyway of covering the mirrors on the sun visors and am finding it a bit strange with the mirrors on them reflecting... Is this correct.. Did they never fit a sliding door to hide the mirror?

Like most cars of that era and earlier. Why would you need to cover it?

Tony.

I think because I've been so used to driving cars "not of that era" I'm finding the glare and light reflection from the mirror quite disconcerting

Never did in my Z3. Try lifting the seat up.

You should be so lucky! My 1970 MG Midget didn't even have any visors! :p

There are after market mirrors you can fit.
Pretty easy for a skilled upholsterer.
