There's a great view of the International Space Station this evening.

Tony.

I’ve been watching a super white light in the same position in the night sky for weeks now. I have no idea if this is the ISC or an asteroid...

That is Venus.
Didn't get to see the SpaceX train tonight - just not visible although many saw it on an earlier pass. Two opportunities tomorrow. 21:34 and at again 23:10
Did see a weather satellite tracking south to north on a polar orbit soon followed soon afterwards by a shooting star east to west.
ISC is visible a few times in coming weeks but the best one will be at 04:22 on 5th May. Passes very high in the sky on that pass and will be very bright. Will most likely be able to see the solar panels using binoculars.

That's Venus you . . . . . ;)

Asteroids tend to stay well away, meteors and the ISC move pretty damn quickly, and planets loiter. Suspiciously. Got my own meteor at home, if you're good I'll put a picture on here later.;)

I'm afraid what's out there in space is beyond me. I struggle with what's on earth. And space is infinitely bigger.

I saw some Asteroids last night.............in the mirror...:arghh:................must be due to laying on the cold ground

I've had a good run. Venus and the Pleiades system were side by side at the beginning of the month. Stunning through telescope or binos. Of course Venus has been the brightest object in the night sky (other than the moon) thanks to its reflective atmosphere.
Got a glimpse of the Lyrid shower last night.
And hopefully see Elon Musk's starlink satellites tonight.

I was up very late this morning and nipped out in the garden before bed and never witnessed so much air traffic II counted 16 aircraft all following in line same flight pattern at high altitude I could not hear there engines and strangely enough no hits on the air traffic app.

That's Elon Musk's Starlink satellites
