Taking our lead from Mike & Sandy, we spent a superb 11 days in August holidaying in the Vendee, France, based in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. Weather was marvellous, one day bit drizzly but warm and ten days blue skies and hot. A beautiful part of France, which we heartily recommend as a holiday destination. Some of our pics:
