As the forecast was for a decent day, I put a route together for a drive out. So, after a quick wash (the Zed not me), the picnic and flask were packed and off we went. We decided to go West into Wales today rather than to our usual playground, The Peaks. Across to Lake Vyrnwy via Newport and Shrewsbury for our picnic overlooking the Lake. Then North to Bala and a circuitous route up to The Ponderosa Cafe at the top of Horseshoe Pass for a cuppa. Then home via Loggerheads and Meaford.
We covered just shy of 200 mostly roof down miles. A great Zedding day:thumbsup:

we was returning today from zedfest...... and around ludlow ashby de la zouch area had a lovely run down to leominster today roof down all day too...

glad you both had a good day too...

did see signs for stafford we have to check the wetherspoons out there we been to most of them around the area...

400 miles covered 38mpg as reported by computer, probably put £40 of fuel in if that works out right i dunno...

car got us home with no problem other than abs light which flickered on when we was driving up to zedfest on sunday.. but now off...

...is not as old as some on here Ken. She was born in Feb 2002 so one of the last off the line;)
