We use bromine Hugh which is much more forgiving on the skin. Also, the water is heated using coils around the pump motor so utilizing waste heat which would just bleed off to the atmosphere to keep the tub at set temp. Very efficient at about thirty cents a day so we barely saw an increase in our hydro bills. What are you using in place of chlorine?? JIM

Yes we use bromine it works over a wider range for guest and check cemical balance daily ,but we use an active oxygenator for our personal use.we double insulate ours so very little waste from the tub itself .you must have very cheap electricity

Yes our power is very cheap compared to most areas in the world! The Winnipeg River which my property backs onto has seven hydro dams as it travels from Ontario into Manitoba to Lake Winnipeg which is huge and just one of more than 100,000 lakes within Manitoba's borders. JIM
