Love it and what's more the Mrs and kids think she looks like a 1980's pimp mobile so don't need to go in her

I agree Gaz. Albeit biased.

Very nice Andy. I almost bought those wheels, but saw them on a red Z and backed out but they look good on black.

Cheers. Came with it. The wheels and the contrasting red interior tipped the balance.

Yes, just noticed your dash is coloured also, I'd love that, for me the steering wheel is a wee bit too much but maybe that would be different in the flesh.

The 18's in that style really can at times look like 19's. Especially when the car is lowered.

What mods have you got planned ?

The red can look a bit loud in the photos, a bit calmer in real life. Respray first as she doesn't stand up to close inspection. A few rust bubbles on the rear arches from stone chips and general scuffs and scrapes, then a ne rear window. After that she'll be spot on. Mods, hmm? Remap and a full stainless steel exhaust, K&N, better brakes and a strut brace. Post that not sure yet but as she's a keeper all that will be some time off yet.

On the rear window, whats up with yours ? if it's only cloudy or scratched it may be recoverable. I purchased Greygate a couple of weeks ago and used it on my perspex wind deflector by hand and I could see it removing scratches amazingly well. I also bought a DA polisher this week and now that the car bodywork has been introduced to it, I'm going to do the plastic screen with it on a low speed next week. I'll post the results for those who may not want to replace and instead recover if possible.

A remap might be on my list too, been quoted £250 for about 30bhp.

Thanks for the tip on the rear window, I'll have a crack at a good clean and polish first. DIY biff I'm afraid so I'll give the DA a miss . Whilst not in the same league I had my Freelander TD4 2.0 diesel remapped last week, great effect and a much better drive all round. Worth every penny!!
