Just caught up with this thread Adrian....

Now remind me, what is this 'work' you speak of:whistle:

46 miles to work which includes the car park called the M6 extra parking called M62 but some times i can cut down the lanes depends on what the M6 is up to Misty never sees the trip to work :(

Absolutely correct Jimmy, that is Rockingham village just before I drop down into Corby, such a pretty chocolate box top image.

Not really sure Dave, I spend much of my time bimbling around watching apprentices working. Had to endure watching a lad changing a clutch on the hottest day of the year - I had to ask him if he wanted me to go and buy him an ice cream :ymdevil:

You've beaten me there then Steve, brave man I couldn't do that  I can hear the chuckling in Gayton from here!! We'll have to go around and let their tyres down if they don't be quiet :D

nice pub at the bottom of the hill in Rockingham
i have a 15 mins drive though Newstead abbey

I'll have to stick my nose in the pub after visiting an apprentice I have in Rockingham. Newstead Abbey is a nice place, used to be able to drive straight through Newstead village into the abbey but they put a barrier up which is code operated. I know one of the residents that own one of the cottages in the grounds by the lake, very nice.

One of the primary reason we got a Z3 was that my commute is about 5 miles from Burnham to Bourne End.. the 'quick' route goes alongside Burnham Beeches, alongside Cliveden, down the hill and into bourne end. The 'long' way I often take is to go straight thru the woods, and come down the hill my the farm road.
You have to tiptoe a bit on the wood road, but then again, you have to tiptoe with any car anyway, and it's lovely.

Will take pics next time I can have the top down!
