I so miss fighter jet noiseLiving a few miles South of you and being very close to the mouth of the Wash, we get (mostly) US fighter jets "playing" dogfighting over the town on an almost constant basis. It was a novelty for the first year, now has become extremely irritating. Those afterburners are bloody noisy (and make the windows shake even at 5,000 ft).

Israel, has fighter planes over their skys constantly protecting their borders, they do ''dog fight'' but mostly with missiles.Do planes nowadays still do "dogfighting"...I know Biggles did but that was a while back.
I was in the South Lakes yesterday and 2 Typhoons came by and then back again, the noise is absolutely fabulous![]()
