That rubber strip along the top of z3 door..

Does that strip just pull up and out?

I have a worsening rust spot at the front, half under that rubber, below the fixed triangular window.

I need to get the rubber out so I can fix that rust.

I don't have to take that glass out do I?

If it's item 1 in Rudyrov's link (i.e. the rubber weather strip), yep just pulls out.

Would recommend refitting with the door closed, as it needs a bit of force to push home (from memory)

Thanks guys. Yes. The weather strip that runs along the top of the door.

Looks a bit like rudyrov's link but the outside rubber strip wraps round the glass at the front so part of it is inside so door has to be open when taking out and putting back in but slides in nice and easy.

But anyway. Thanks. Had it out. Took out the rust, primed and put rubber back in till I get round to painting.
