If your car has that awful great auxiliary air pump mounted behind the offside headlight and you are planning to dump it you will need a blanking plate for the port on the cylinder head when you remove the vac. capsule.
I have made some over the last couple of days and have 4 more blanks. If you want one send me a PM.

Do all Z3's have this pump ?
 
I'll have a look tomorrow when I get home to see if mine has one. My Zed is running like a watch at the moment but I'll bare this in mind for future reference

Hi Simon, mine became very noisy, the bearings in the pump were shot. It only runs for a few seconds after start up and was only for the American market. My 2.0 breezes through emissions test with out it and it's only extra weight after all. Easily refitted if you want, mine went in the bin.

Have you blanked off the port on the cyl. head? I f you want a blanking plate shout up.

Cheers for the response mate, I made one with some spare steel plate I had at my garage. But for those without the resources I would recommend your kit. It's a quick wee mod with no downside and removes potential future problems.

I have now fitted a pipercross cone filter to my Zed, going to see how things run for the next month or so then the air pump will be out.
I take it all the engine variants will be the same, Mines the M43TU block - 4 cylinder
Ill take you up on your kind offer if it compatible.
