Hi both

I'm really sorry but I won't be able to make it.

I am currently in hospital after being brought in by ambulance on Sunday evening. I had forgotten all about it until I was reminded by my kids earlier when they got the message through on my iPad.

I'm hoping to be released tomorrow but won't be up to coming.
I'm really sorry to let you down but nothing I can do except apologise and offer to come another time when I've recovered.

At least I now have my iPad in with me and an internet signal.

Sorry again

Dobbo (Simon)

Get well soon @Dobbo I certainly hope that it is something simply, as if anything that puts you in an ambulance and hospital can be simply, I mean something quickly cure able with no long term suffering involved! Having been there too many times I wish you well and I'm sure Stacey will understand! JIM

Hoping you make a speedy recovery!!!

David.

Thanks all for your messages

I had surgery 8 years ago on my stomach following stab wounds when running pubs/clubs for a living.

Had valve made from muscle at top of stomach stopping food and acid coming up food pipe and causing ulcers etc.
Anyway valve stops me belching or being sick ever which is weird.
Something gone wrong with it causing massive pain and leaving me unable to swallow food or drink.

Drip for food plus morphine! (what a lovely thing) ha.

Anyway camera down throat today followed by balloon which was inflated to stretch valve and pain much better thanks.
See if can swallow tomorrow, if can then home which is good as sooooo bored in here.
If not then surgery so fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear that Simon, hope all goes well for you mate. be good.

Tony.

Hopefully the balloon does the trick and you can get back in the saddle! Having been there the hospital is the most boring place on earth! JIM
