On our quest to squeeze 3 builds in before christmas (this being the second) @Tearoom asked back in the summer if he could book a slot.

So here she is all stripped, we are doing the normal subframe bush change with a powerflex diff bush, handbrake cables, drop links. We are also upgrading the front disc's to 300mm from the 3.0L zed and on this 1.9 that's going to change from a solid disc to a vented. While everything's out we've decided to changed all the shocks and top mounts. We would normally have more photos but our photographer was absent =))

This is how we left her

She weren't to bad underneath, you can tell she's stored in a garage.

One of the first things off is the spare wheel carrier, which is where we started seeing rusty bits.

For a change this zed has had a the exhaust replaced so theres a joint half way down. This made the job an doddle to do. A couple of hours and subframes on the floor.

The shocks were toast, they never came back out to play again.

The normal warming of the subframe bushes to press them out.

Collection of very soft and worn bushes.

While we were at it we stripped off the front shocks ready for the arrival of the new shocks.
