Tapatalk access issues 09/04/2014

Tapatalk users may have issues accessing the forum at the moment. I've removed and reinstalled the server component which should help. I've done various things from the list below and it's back working on both my iPad and Android phone (not that I use it).
  • Logout / login
  • Clear the application cache from the settings page
  • Reboot your device
  • Delete the forum from your list of forums, and re add it back in again.
 
Didn't have any issues.
Did access it multiple times over the course of the day.
 
It seemed to be an indexing problem Gary. I could see thread headers but no content on either iPad or iPhone. As it affected both devices I figured the problem was at "your" end not mine ;)
Seems ok now although I didn't check the iPad this morning.
 
Thanks for the feedback chaps. It may be that I needed to do things on my devices as I don't really use Tapatalk at all often. Only gets loaded when I'm testing it works after any upgrades.

Not sure if any other tapatalk users experience this but I often find that threads are slow to load esp compared to other similar forums.
Despite a relatively fast internet connection the spinning wheel is a frequent visitor when using Zorg. I seldom get it elsewhere.
 
I'll have a look in to it Terry, but won't be for a few days because of the West Country Cruise.

If you get this again, can you open the site on your devices web browser and see if the site is slow to access on that? Need to know if it's just tapatalk, or the site in general. It could be when it's slow on TT the site is busy.

I am aware that Zorg hammers the server it's on at the moment, and once funds allows it's getting an upgrade so it has more resources available to it.

No problem - but it will be quiet this weekend if you're away anyway :stop:
