One of the wonderful sights of this mountain retreat is the tall pine trees. They seem to be like giants next to the people and cabins. The next four pics have cars in them for perspective:

We're staying ten miles north in the village of Bolton Landing:

I took some pics of the lake. 3 show the lake as calm as I've ever seen it in 35 years. Just the slightest ripples made by a boat that passed but I never saw:

The lake is 1.5 miles wide and 31 miles long,

Today we went to the Shelborn Museum in Vermont, one of the exhibits there was the ship "Ticonderoga". It was in use on Lake Champlain until 1953 when it was then sold and moved to the museum. :

My daughter is walking in the rain with a paper over head. We later went to a restaurant on the shore of Lake Champlain in Vermont. This is a picture of Lake Champlain:

We drove back to Lake George and before going into the cabin to compose this, couldn't help snapping this photo of the full moon shining over the lake:

Last day today. Leave tomorrow. Toke a ride down to the south end of the lake where the ships are and took some pics and a vid. They are: The Mini -Ha-Ha, the Mohegian, and the Lac du Saint Sacrement (which was the name the French gave the lake before the English named it Lake George). If you look carefully in the first pic, all three ships.
