Spotted this morning @Synclare ...........driving my zed :wideyed:.........but I was sat next to him in the passenger seat .
Unfortunately no pics as my phone was on charge .
Adrian called in to collect some interior trim on his way back from the show us your metal gathering this morning.
Sat outside in the glorious sunshine with a coffee in the garden talking all things zed he mentioned possibly looking for a 6 pot,he said he had tried a 2litre but wasn't much quicker than his 1.9 so I suggested he had a go in mine.
It was nice to be a passenger in my own zed for a change and Adrian drove it with utmost respect......so I told him to give it some gas :ymdevil:.
There was a noticeable grin appearing on his face......and mine :D as he started to take the corners with more pace........"I can see how you might get enticed to go a bit quicker" he said :).
He also put my mind at rest regarding the usually notchy gear box saying it was similar to his 1.9 which I believed were smoother gear boxes.......and commented how tight and taut the car felt as well. Coming from a chap with his background that made me quite happy.
All together an enjoyable morning spent with another zed enthusiast .

Sat in the passenger seat of my zed today whilst my neighbour had a drive. The passenger seat hasn't been sat in by anyone since i installed them .
The exhausts louder from the passenger seat =))
Was nice to feel it was as smooth as a passenger as it feels as a driver all good:)

It was very good of you Steve to let me have a drive of your pride and joy, it certainly wet my appetite for a few more cylinders and horses, it turns it into a real driving experience. You have one nicely sorted and maintained zed there clearly having been maintained as it should be by the previous keeper and it certainly shows in it's agility and general tautness.
Great to visit you and ironically just down the road from where I first met @Grumpy for some shady dealings in tonneau's in a layby during my first few months of zed ownership :)

Jue drove mine when I first came out of hospital last year. I enjoyed it being passenger and as a rule I don't! What did Adrian do @Bozzy?
