Is this comprehensive enough?...any other parts that may be worth considering in addition?

25 year old car with 117K...I'm thinking it would like this...should I really be thinking shocks and springs as well?...it has no issues currently that I am aware of...just thought it would cheer her up?

Top mounts and anti-roll bar bushes if you wanna go full retard.

Prob worth doing it all at that mileage. I refreshed everything whilst changing a snapped spring at around 75k (control arms, drop links, springs/shocks, top mounts, ARB bushes) and it felt like an entirely different car afterwards:thumbsup:

If the springs and especially shockers have done 117K they will be shot. You won't tell how bad until they're removed.

Tony.

Thanks for the comments yes will look to add Top mounts and anti-roll bar bushes .....not sure if these 'kits' come with all the necessary poly bushes or if that's a separate add on?...seem to be an awfully lot of them if you are going to replace all!

Can vouch for this seller, have bought many times from him and it's always been great kit/service

You'll have to buy poly bushes separately if you want them. I just went with rubber all round.

An alternative to poly for the wishbone lollipop is fitting the concentric bush from the e36 M3, which is solid rubber instead of gapped rubber like on the Z3 (and standard e36). I'd like to try this at some point and wish I'd done it when I did my refresh.

I bought wishbone arms from this seller 2 weeks ago, arrived missing the nuts for the ball pins. Their response was to sort it myself - "I don't think so" was my response to that.
They said they would send replacements but never did.
Bought another pair from BMWMotormec and opened a case with Ebay to get my money plus return postage back.
Buy the arms without the rear bushes and use either the solid rubber 'M' ones or polybush.
Meyle do both HD range or standard, use the HD range where both balljoints are HD (heavy duty) or pay a little more and get Lemforder.
Do not use this Jonnyboy seller.
Nice one mate. Always good to hear another side, as it’s when things go wrong that businesses show their true colours. Never had issues myself, but will be bit more wary.

BMW Motormec are great.
