Suspension mount compatability

Hi,
Can anybody confirm if the suspension mounts etc are all the same on the 6 cylinder cars? I am considering a second hand coil over system, and the suspension was fitted to a pre-facelift wide body 2.8 while I have a 2001 2.2 sport, and want to make sure it fits before buying. Thank you.

Yep, should be OK, no issues with fitting.
