Suspension issue

I think there was a post a while ago somewhere about one side sitting higher than the other after using lowering springs. If there was one could someone please post a link as I can't find it.

I've got a similar problem, I've put Eibach springs on and the passenger side is about a fingers width higher than the drivers. (With no one sat inside) any ideas? It's getting looked at tomorrow but thought I would see if someone already had the answer to make it easy

I had this issue on my z3 and have worked it out with spring pads.
Its common in Bmw's when you google it i think it may be present prelowering but closing the arch tyre gap shows it off more.

Agree but my z3 is lower drivers side on looking into this looks as though it may have been set in to the car as a LHD car so is worse in the uk.
Its defo not spring related in my case as i rotated them and it made no difference.
It could be a lazy subframe bush the car may have been single person driven most of its life making it worse drivers side.
Hoping to get the bushes done and maybe it will answer it.

The O/S one is definitely the worse of the two mate. I think over a sharp bump that gives a small knock as the metal parts touch.

Mines lower on the drivers side as well, the rears will need a slight camber adjust or the arched rolled as they both rub slightly which I thought may be the case with them being 265. Might look in to the subframe bushes as well

Problem there is that if you introduce camber to clear the tyres on the wheel arch you are going to get exaggerated tyre wear on the insides of the tyres as happens on a Z3. May have been better to fit 255 tyres which would give a tiny bit of "stretch" and may clear the bodywork without any mods?

I don't really like the look of stretched tyres so may see about getting the arches rolled instead.

You would only be talking 5mm each side Neil so hardly noticeable. I agree as I'm not a fan either, just a thought.

Just booking in my car to get the arches rolled, £100 for 2 or £140 for all four. Thanks to whoever told me about www.archenemy.co.uk on Monday can't remember who it was
