Whilst out with @Oldguysrule doing a dry run of a new route for the New Forest 2018 Run, we got surrounded by the Triumph owners club TR Run. A friendly bunch and a good group of lovely cars too.

We had a great run and a few additional amendments and another test run should see the plan work nicely.

The TR2's were amazing as well.. Only ever seen one in a static exhibit.. Nice to see them being driven in a lovely October sunny day.

Great to see, I have a soft spot for the TR6 as my father had one for a few years whilst I was growing up. Great car, great sound.

@Brian H A great group of owners too. The TR2 was a pleasure to see as were the two TR8's which sounded lovely. The great smell of Petrol and Oil hung in the air... We were offered a space if we wanted to join them.. But we had other plans.. lol.

You hit the nail in the head, it is a combination of sound and smell, brilliant memories.

Bit like my old dads Red Indian petrol lawn mower years ago, big old thing, used to love tinkering with it and will never forget the smell of freshly cut grass and petrol.
When he downgraded to a Flymo, I said he could cut the grass himself......

That's a big part of the Friday and Saturday nights Old Town Cruises in Kissimmee Brian. The smell of old cars is great.
Saw this at Old Town

And this one at The Citrus Tower near Clermont.

Quite a lot of old British metal over here.
