Mrs got me a DA polisher for our anniversary, so I gave it a go on her car incase I ruined my paint 
Saturday mornjng, gave it a claybar first, that took well over an hour, the car was supposed to come with a lifetime treatment which obviously hasnt even lasted 6 months so was a waste of money.
Nothing too abrasive, medium pad and then the meguiars compound/polish/wax combo.
Came up quite nice, not the best weather for photos, and grey doesn't show scratches very well either.
Might give the z3 a go in a few weeks, although it has terrible paint and has needed a respray for 3 years anyway
