Suddenly No crank, no start.

I have a 1997 BMW Z3 2.8l
Went out to start it, and had no click, no crank, no start.
I have dash lights, the battery has been checked and is fully charged.
I jumped the starter motor, cranked, but would not start???
Please, any help will be greatly appreciated.

This also happens when you try to use the valet key to start your Z. Just something I was told

Hi and to the forum from me too in Stafford. I would guess the battery has died.

Check your neutral safety switch! It can stop you from starting up! They can corrode over time! I have the same car, 98 2.8. It’s a common problem on miatas too. Good luck!

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions. It appears to be EWS failure. I have a locksmith attempting to bypass it.
