1997 2.8 11/96 build $72K miles. I’ve been reading about the subframe issues that are prone to our cars. I don’t have any issues that I’m aware of yet but decided to get proactive and buy subframe bushings. Here is a pic of the trunk floor for reference. Do you see any red flags with the welds?
It’s my understanding that changing out these bushings is a major job. I thought it would be a good time to replace the rear shocks and maybe the springs too. Is there anything else I should consider having them do while they have the rear end off? Everything back there is original.
