Made good progress building a sub enclosure today having watched the videos and posts. Really pleased so far and for anyone thinking or doing similar I can recommend the in phase xt 6.5” sub which fits a treat! Leatherette to go on the top tomorrow and then figuring out how to get an RCA cable and remote link from the head unit to the amp in the boot!

If you pull back/remove the carpet in the boot (the piece that includes the light for the boot) you will find the wiring loom that has been fed through the bulkhead to the inside of the car. Very easy to run cables from the radio along the underside of the centre console up behind the plastic that holds the rear speakers and into the boot. A wire coat hangar is useful. The only other piece of trim I removed was from one of the towers that the passenger roll bar sits in (RHD car).

Bit more progress today, top fitted and vinyl covered. Just waiting on a delivery in the week of amp, cables and some new front component speakers ! Thanks Ken for the routing tips

Component vibe slick footwell speakers fitted and sub and amp now operational. Some fine tuning to get levels right but very happy. Vibe speakers are a great factory fit upgrade for very sensible money!
