Hello All.
i managed to put a nice dent in my rear wheel while doing the NC500 in Scotland, i have had the tyre replaced & inspected the rim, there are no cracks & have done 1000 miles since & all is good.
I took the rim to a repair company yesterday wh are unsure if it can be repaired they seem to think it may not work so i am now after a replacement.

The details from the damaged wheel are

1094374
81 / 2Jx17
IS 41
RS 724

can anyone help please ???

You may struggle to find a single rim on a style 42 as the rims are rare and command good money for a set so I reckon it will be hard to find someone with a single wheel for sale but good luck with the search.

Breakers are your best bet for an odd wheel.

It’s technically not a Style 42 as they are the non-split rim version. But most people list them as Style 42 anyway. The proper name I can’t remember. I just call them split rim 42s. Just be careful in case you end up with the wrong thing if you buy it over the phone.

I happened to be looking for this style of wheel myself a few nights ago. There are quite a few on eBay including single wheels. But be careful as the rears are a different size to the fronts.

It might also be worth calling BM Mini Parts as they had a few new old stock very reasonably priced a while back but haven’t checked recently.
