As much as I like my 18" wheels, they do make the ride a bit hard.
So I had my old faithful style 154 16" wheels refurbed for the coming season.

After toying with different colours, I totally bottled it and went traditional.
I like these wheels I think they are sympathetic to the retro styling of the car.
Plus they give a much more comfortable ride.
As my Zed is only a 1.9 I think it's gets away with it.

I had a bit of luck with these, the local refurb specialist quoted me £55 per wheel plus VAT, which I ummm'd and ahhhhh'd about.
Then I was chatting to the guy who owns the "car sales" garage in my village and he said that he gets all the wheels refurbed on the cars he sells, so if I give them to him he'll send them off with his and get them done at trade price.
He charged me £160 cash all in and I gave him £20 for a drink. Result.
