Can I stuff a set of 275-40-17's on the rearr of My Z3 "M"
and
can I stuff a set of 235-40-17's on the front end

anyone that has increased the the 245-40-17's and the 225-40-17's
please let me know

ready to buy some new tires and would love to put some nice fat tires on the car without rubbing issues

Hello @Lawrence P Franz . If it helps I've got 225/35/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. Works well.

The rear has ample room.
Front may rub when turning hard but your car is not lowered so probably ok. If it does just need to trim the plastic in the arch.
Compared with the normal models the M does runs some castor so could rub inside the arch at the from inside when turning, worth keeping in mind.

In the US they run some of the widest rear wheels I've ever seen on a Z, I think the widest if be seen is 315! The rear has loads of room and the M axles are short.
It's the fronts that are more limiting hence you see drag car style Z (massive rears and skinny fronts).
Of course when you do the wide body conversion them no problem!

the 315's are awsome wide but Im sure I would be pushing the limits hah ...
thinkin either 255-40-17's or 275-40-17 's on the rear

I run 255/35/18 over 9,5j rims and 12mm spacers with no issues on my 2.8 which also lowered

I'm going to go for more 'meat' when these need replacing, I too like the meatier look.

you had mentioned that you lowered your Zed ... how much did you lower it and how did you lower your ride ... I attached a few Zeds that look great ... I would love to get mine down and dirty too ... let me know how exactly

I last fitted onto mine Falken Azenis FK-453 255/40 R17 Y (98), Falken Azenis FK-453 235/45 R17 Y (97). No issues with clearance on standard suspension at the front. I be interested to see what you get away with as I would like to go 245 at the front and what I can get away with at the rear but I think that's nearing maximum for the roadstars.
