I swear there used to be a thread about the best ones reception wise and what to get.
But I can't find it for the life of me :(
Whats the OEM BMW stubby aerial that will fit on the Z3? I used to use the 1 series one on my old Z4s so I assume it is probably that?

That does look pretty good! Admittedly I am using my phone for music most the time anyway

I've just bought a Citroen one for my Z4 and can confirm decent enough signal for 5Live on 693AM this evening on the way home from work.

This is the one I bought, direct from Richbrook, though available from a few places. Worked really, I even bought another one for my Mazda 3. http://www.richbrook.co.uk/aerials/short-black-anti-theft-car-aerial191

A word of warning though, the OEM aerial is a bit bendy and forgiving if accidentally nocked, the stubby style is not. The original one had been fine for 15 years, within a month of me putting the stubby one on I came back to the car in a car park to find the aerial on the floor, together with the top of the antennae base. I'm being kind when I say that someone must have 'accidentally' nocked it, either way it cost me £100 or so for the new base and grommets from Sopers. I've gone back to the more flexible style.

I have a small gold stubby that was on my car when I bought it. Happy to put it in an envelope if anyone wants it.

Steve.
