It does look very similar to the one which Ant had on his Z3. He did mention the make on one of his posts Rob. Might be worth a look?

Tony.

Thanks chaps. Just trying to establish the pedigree before I decide whether to keep it or sell it.

They aren’t really my thing to be honest but you never now.

I remember seeing these on eBay a few years ago selling for around £120 I got the impression someone was making them.

Fitted one very similar and bought off eBay for about £80, to my M44. There is a difference but it's very small. Its also a little bit bling which isn't my thing. May well paint it black which would tone it down a bit. Wouldn't go out of my way to buy another.

Thanks. Thought it was strange I couldn't find it when I did a google.

It seems well engineered.

I tracked down a photo of Ant's and it is the same. However he said he bought it second-hand and can't see mention of the make.

However this thread reveals it to be Automax. And @Lee 's recollection of £120 at the time was spot-on according to this. I guess if they made them now they might be £140-£150 worth with inflation.

Seems like a nice one. But I suspect I will decide to bank a bit of cash selling it for more pressing projects.

Looks the same as mine fitted to a 2.8. I have a feeling it may have been there since new.
