Hi,
I stripped the vent thread from rge vent hole. someone changed the plastic vent bolt to a metal bolt.
What I need to know if the vent hole is on the radiator or on the expansion tank.
2001 roadster,
thanks in advance

If your car is the same as mine: 2001 six cylinder model. There is a plastic drain in the bottom left hand side of the radiator for draining the radiator. If you strip that you are stuffed and might need a new radiator unless you can somehow tap the hole bigger and put in an oversize bolt. There is another bleeder screw next to the overflow tank where you put the fluid in. Is that what you are talking about? How about give the last 7 digits of your VIN so we can look up what you might need :)

Please post a picture of the item you're talking about and it will make it easier to advise you.
