A few months ago the coolant level warning light came on in the car. I checked and topped up with 2ltrs of water. The following day same problem. It went into the stealers and they found the water pump had cracked. It was replaced FOC and off I went. The other day the water temp light came on and the car went into limp mode. Back into the stealers only to be told the water pump needed replacing. Whilst replacing it they noticed that the thermostat housing which it attaches to was cracked so that was replaced as well. Just waiting now for the next problem.
Strange water pump problem.
