I have had at least 6 of these Stormforce covers and if you leave the car outside, all of them deteriorate over a couple of years and rip and tear. The cheaper ones end up leaving a powder all over the car.
The best ones are Monsoon. However they don’t breath and cause condensation under the cover with obvious consequences.
Basically, I use a summer one in summer and the Monsoon in winter but remove it every few days and dry the cover and remove any moisture.
My advice is keep it in a garage.
There are some really nice portable garages and gazebos but strap it down well.

I’ve been using Monsoon and not suffered condensation issues, are yours the latest design with the air-vent flaps?

Hi there, I have been using a tailored Silver lightweight SummerPro cover at £74.50 from ebay. Its a good fit and breathable and the shiny silver fabric is supposed to deter cats ( so I hope my cat will leave it alone). It has two under body straps too. Its lightweight and seems to dry quickly.

I had a Stormforce cover at £150 but it seemed like a fibrous cardboard type of fabric which tore easily and I simply couldn't see where it was supposed to be 4 layers. To be honest I would have bought a cheaper cover (circa £30) if I thought the cat would leave it alone - then get a new cover each year maybe.
