Stop Start

Evening all

should my 2012 sdrive have stop start?
as the other day I stalled the car
I then dip the clutch and engine restarted, I didn’t press the stop start?

Some e89s do some don't. As I understand it (and I am happy to be otherwise advised) The 23i/30i/35i/35is (6 pot) do NOT have start stop. The N20 (4 pot) based engines for the 20i/28i DO have stop start. Depends on the engine type.

the 2012 manual gearbox has Stop/Start:

If you have Stop/Start you will have a button on the centre console to turn it off:

Yeh its not an option on the auto's
