A word of caution.. The last set l put on have caused a 'fogging' of the paint / lacquer (these weren't from little fella) and l have heard of other members having the same issue.

If you have had a respray on that area of the car it will effect the paint having them on. If it is original paint you should be fine

New tangled paint as opposed to 20 year old paint technology's?

Apart from the bonnet I wasn't aware that my car had been re-sprayed anywhere else, but as this has only affected my N/S wing and not the O/S this may well be the case I guess?

I'm not entirely sure why it has affected some paint, mine are on 24-7 wet or dry and my paint has not been affected, @t-tony may well be on to something with water based paint verses solvent base, we have a water based mixing scheme at work but I don't trust the stuff and buy solvent base for my car and any side jobs that I do.

Could it be down to the painting process in factories? Dont they dip the panels in something to attract the paint, i assume on a reapray this wouldnt be done.
