I need a set of stone guards for the rear wings, l have previously used magnetic ones but the last set l bought were described as black but are in fact very dark brown. Anyone know where l can get a proper black set? Failing that can anyone tell me their experience of using stick on ones ie are they easy to apply / remove? I'm really crap at fitting those phone protector films so if they're anything like that l will avoid.

I have a set of clear 3M film ones. Yes like putting on a phone screen protector. You just need to use plenty of soapy water and it's fine. Getting them off I don't know as there still where I left them last time I looked!

Mine were bear brown magnetic but i wrapped them with 3D Carbon Fibre wrap. Now look great on my black Z3.

I have the chrome effect magnetic ones, just peel off, clean car and gaurds and pop back on. A doddle. By the looks of all the chinks in them they're a life saver.

Crikey Coops, you're not gonna be installing Roo-bars on the Z are you?;)=))

Tony.

ps. Meanwhile, back on topic, I'm thinking of making some for my Z4 out of carbon wrap as I've got the wheels stuck out well and don't want to get the paint pebble dashed.
