Off to Stockport today and the suns out! So its out with the Z4, now looking at the nonsensical fun route, non motorway of course. Need to include my favourite road, the Strines which takes us nicely to the Snake pass winging our way to Stockport.
Route back probably in the wrong direction, heading over to Derbyshire for a brief run on the edge of the Peaks. 139 miles in total so should be time for lunch.

Dammit - why on a work day ! I've also found that Strines road. Yes its a bit narrow and very twisty in places, but so much is new road surface and the views are magnificent. Well jealous - Enjoy!

Great run out, Myself and Rob T both with a co pilot for the day. Set off at 9:30 got back at 4:30 Loved as always the Strines both ways, also did the Wynatts pass a must for me when in the area, i find it breath taking. As always the high peak never fails to impress with some fantastic scenery and great driving roads, which seemed a lot quieter in the week. Did the obligatory coffee breaks at the Strines inn and the Old hall Tea rooms. Today has certainly whetted the appetite for the months to come.
Coming up Sunday, a drive to Sunderland, play with a few new BMW's then a good run back over the Yorkshire moors, hope the suns shining

Plenty of room at the Strines Inn
