Not on my car, Shirl's oil burner has been affected by the stink of screen washer bottle, it's awful. So, please give me all your suggestions for getting rid of the smell.

Thanks Peeps.

Tony.

We use Evian down South mate, usually mixed in with a bit of elder-flower to keep everything smear free and fresh smelling.

Dread to think what you've put in there!

Cheers Mark, I had that in mind. If it was my Z it would be easy but on the Eos not so much.

Watch out for legionella, the under bonnet temperature could incubate such.

Get rid of all the current fluid

Then whack a Melton tablet in with some fresh water and let it sit before evacuating again .

Then obviously only use proper screen wash to minimise gunge build up

Worse case is removal and scrub but it'll probably be in the inner wing and a bugger to remove

I only ever use preparatory concentrate screen wash because I see/smell this problem often at work.
Shirl got some Milton tabs yesterday so that's the first step. Cheers Tim.
