Hi all,

I have a provisional design for stickers (hopefully being prettified soon!), and will hopefully be able to supply some in the next week or so.

We have gone for simplicity with the design and the basic design is a letter 'Z' (in the car badge style) overlayed with 'ROADSTER.ORG' - similar to the header at the top of the forum page! Sizes to be confirmed...

I need some idea of what type of stickers you are after, so have broken this down to the following categories.

1> Inside window - grey 'z' with white 'ROADSTER.ORG'. This is the best contrast against the interior of the car.
2> Exterior - grey 'z' with white 'ROADSTER.ORG' for dark coloured cars
3> Exterior - grey 'z' with black 'ROADSTER.ORG' for light coloured cars

I've added a poll to gather interest. You can multiply select poll options if you are interested in different types.

Once I have an idea of what people want, I can publish prices. Current guesswork on price will be 3 stickers (yes 3!) for around £2 to £3 delivered. This is based on a tentative quote I have so you can't hold me to it!

That's unbelievably cheap! I had a couple of .net a while ago @ £6.00 a piece!

Although its time that one got replaced, I will definitely be wanting 3 of these :D

That's the chap. These are really rough drafts using Enthocentric font. They are on a transparent background, which makes the white ones difficult to see on screen...

For comparison using Promethean font.

Just a thought....
I prefer the ethnocentric font, but I also prefer NeRo's layout...... :-s
Given the difficulty in reading some of the text (depending on background colour etc.) might it be better to avoid overwritten letters as well.
The black on silver works but I'm not sure that the white is quite as effective.

I like your first design as well Gary, but I think that NERO has the edge, mainly due to the outlining. ;)

That's a good point Frank.
The outline and shadowing give much better defintion but this may be difficult to replicate in a predominantly monotone sticker.

Agree with you both completely. We can make the car stickers as bling as you like, but reproducing that image on to other merhcandise could end up causing problems.

For example, the complexity of having an intricate logo embroidered on to a polo shirt will push the item cost up. Apparently they charge by the amount of stitches taken to produce the image.

Ideally we end up with 2 similar themed simplistic logo's. One in rectangular form (for stickers, baseball caps etc), and one squarish shaped (for t-shirts etc). That said, I'm having a nightmare trying to make a rectangle logo square :((

Not got the font and spent 30 secs on it but was just the idea really.

i think the others will fit better as window stickers and on tax discs but something like that might work for mugs etc
