Hello, Retired a few years ago and planned to buy a late 60's early 70's MGB, had quite a few in the past and very comfortable working on them. Thought I found the right car, all original body no rust, engine and tranny were solid. Test drove for about an hour and realized what am I doing there must be something better for the money. Always found the Z3 to be an outstanding looking vehicle. So changed my focus to rag top Z3, Z4, Audi TT and Nissan 350Z. The Nissan and Audi were eliminated quickly as was the Z4. The hunt was on for a pre facelift widebody 2.8, low kms, all original and pampered. No modifications, no performance parts, no exhaust delete.
Found a gorgeous Dakar yellow 1998 2.8 with 85,000KMS, one owner, never driven in the winter (Canada) garaged only caught in the rain once. I laughed out loud on the test drive, so much fun to drive. Love this little yellow car. tucked away for the winter and can't wait until spring.
