Stereo feedback since fixing antenna

Hi all,

I am having issues with feedback with my stereo since fixing my antenna.

The feedback increases/decreases with speed and has only started since I fixed my antenna (before the stereo worked fine with carplay no feedback). It sounds like white noise.

Does anyone have experience of this and how to fix?

First place I would be looking is the antenna earth.

Thanks Tony, yes I initially earthed to the bolt that fixes the antenna base to arch but removing it made no impact.

What else could it be?

Wait I’ve confused myself above - so the earth for the antenna base remains attached in the bolt that fixes the base to car, but the part I initially attached then removed was the antenna wire (into base) fixing to car.
