On Sunday we went to see our grandsons play football :p
The Z was perfect going to the football ground ;)
But when we started the Z up to come home the steering wheel went as tho we had no power steering, it was very stiff , Alan drove about 2 mins down the road then had to stop . ;)
After a few minutes he started the Z up again and it was like nothing had happened, the Z was fine again ;)
I went to Norwich in it yesterday about 20miles away and it was fine ;)
I'm just wondering if anyone knows why this happened :)
Thanks ;);)

Hi @Shelly,

There is a known problem on the Z4 that affects the steering, something to do with heat? If I remember correctly the steering on the 4 is an electronic steering column and the servo can fail, I read about this a few years back and it seemed to get worse if the heater in the cab was on and pointing downwards, did you have the heater on whilst watching the footy?

Thanks @Brian H :p
Thats put my mind at rest ;)
We didn't have the heaters on as it was a boiling hot day , and we put the roof up when we left the Z :)
Perhaps the Z got too hot inside it ;)
Thanks for both your help ;)
