Steering wheel wiring

Can anybody please help me. All the wires have been cut behind the airbag on the steering wheel. And i dont know which ones are for the airbag and which is the horn. there are five wires in total i think.
The car is a 2000 1.9 Z3.

disconnect the battery before you do any work though.....

And figure out why those wires were cut in the first place! Something was not working as it should or did someone take a short cut to put a better condition wheel on to make a sale?? JIM

Just found these additional photos of connections in column - but struggling to remember which is which - it was a few years ago - I think the orange plug is the one to airbag.

That twisty wire looks like the wire to a "clock spring"
